To Our UniFirst Family, Valued Customers, and the Communities We Serve:

As we continue to navigate these unique times, I hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.

Over the last year, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has impacted our world in profound ways, which we have responded to with critical changes in the operations of our business. As we continue to closely monitor the impact of COVID-19 on the communities where we live and work, we remain steadfast in our effort to adapt to new challenges as they arise and continue providing the hygienically clean uniforms and facility service products that our customers depend on.

Since the earliest days of the pandemic, UniFirst has played a key role in keeping essential services and other critical supply chain businesses up and running. For that reason, we enacted and continue to follow strict protocols for health and safety that align with CDC guidelines to limit and prevent the spread of COVID-19. This helps ensure that our locations across North America remain open and functional, and that our employee Team Partners and customers stay safe.

As state lockdowns lift and the economy continues to reopen, we know local communities are eager to get back to work. In addition to providing the essential safety products and personal protective equipment (PPE) businesses need to restore and maintain operations, I am pleased to share that UniFirst has donated significant supplies of face masks, hand sanitizer, and other PPE to small businesses and other organizations across North America, prioritizing regions where PPE has not been as readily available.

At its core, UniFirst is a family-run business built on family values. Since our founding in 1936, UniFirst has built its reputation on providing seamless, worry-free service that eliminates the administrative burden of managing uniform and facility service programs. As we continue with this new era of work, we remain committed to serving our customers, our communities, and our employee Team Partners. Their safety and well-being will always be our number-one priority.

I am continually impressed by the extraordinary individuals and organizations in our communities that are going above and beyond to help those in need during this pandemic. By continuing to work together, I am optimistic about a bright future ahead.

Sincerely
